Nebraska vs. ISU

ARob is a very good running back, but I wouldn't bet on him being the best running back in the North this season!

Uh, you do realize A-Rob rushed for 1,200 in 9 games? On a pulled groin? Had more 100 yard games than Helu? Played 4 less games? Can come out of the backfield and catch a pass? And you're truly joking about Burkhead right? His stats are a joke! :biglaugh:

Anyone who watched Burkhead against Zona in the Holiday Bowl knows he will be a stud running back. Yes, at this point he hasn't proven much, but there is no question he will emerge as a top-flight running back in 2010.

Quite honestly, I thought about calling the running back position a draw and certainly wouldn't be offended if that were the call. As I said, ARob is a talent and could have had an even better season had it not been for his injury. You could say the same thing about Roy Helu, Jr., though. Over 1000 yards and a ton of playing time lost due to injury, not to mention a lot of time when he was used when he was injured. I gave Nebraska the slight edge due to depth (I didn't even mention Dontrayevous Robinson who would be a starter at a lot of schools).

Arob would start for Nebraska. Helu would be third string at ISU.

Dude your offense sucks, may be the worst in the Big 12 this year. Sit back and pray that Zac Lee loses the starting job.

Helu does not fit our offense, the dude cant catch a five yard swing pass.

The word, UNIGuy4CY, should have been "sucked." We don't know whether the offense will "suck" in 2010, as we haven't seen it on the field yet. Yes, I do hope and pray that Zac Lee doesn't end up starting this season. If he does, again, all bets are off. He is quite simply, the worst starting quarterback at Nebraska in 50 years. But, as I said if either Martinez or Cody Green gets the nod, I think Nebraska will be vastly improved on offense in 2010. If Shawn Watson opens things up like he did in the Holiday Bowl, the Nebraska offense could be very fun to watch. A lot of its, but as I said, we just don't know at this point.

Question for you, this year game comes down to a 4th quarter drive, you put our offense on the field or Nebraska's? Be honest.

If only you could read, IcSyU. I prefaced everything I said by the words "on paper." We really won't know much of anything until late September or early October. All I said was "on paper" Nebraska has the edge. I also stated that emotion plays a big part of any football game and if Iowa State wins the "emotion battle," as they did a year ago, they can and probably will win. I have never been of the persuasion that Nebraska "lost" that fotball game in Lincoln a year ago. My contention is that Iowa State "won" the game. They played with more emotion and because of that emotion, created a lot of turnovers (notice, I said "created a lot of turnovers" unlike a lot of my Nebraska friends who are unwilling to admit that most turnovers are "created") and were able to defeat a superior team.
