Agree. It just popped on the ticker so it will take a while for the website update. IMO
Well, if Nebraska + the South teams are all gone, then we still have 5 teams left in our league...enough to remain viable, I think. Hopefully in the near future, all of the remaining ADs will be on the phones with each other trying to recruit some of the top MWC teams and maybe a couple from the (soon to be dead?) Big East. If we don't have any Texas teams left, then TCU and Houston look pretty good. Add Cincinnati, Louisville, Utah, BYU, and a school like Wyoming, and you've got a pretty nice conference.
East - ISU, KU, KSU, MU, Cincy, Louisville
West - CU, Utah, BYU, TCU, Houston, Wyoming

Whatever happened to our belov-ed governor, putting us in the big ten? I thought he was meeting with the coaches today? (and no... I haven't checked the governor's twitter acct. today)
Don't worry, Dan Beebe is in charge...so we'll just sit back and wait for things to happen (ie. the conference to implode).
Don't worry... Dan said he was quite comfortable that the Big XII would remain intact. There is absolutely nothing to worry about as Dan surely did his homework.
The first thing they need to do is Fire Bebeeeee. Then look around see what is left of their conference, move the office back to KC, see what teams from the Big East are without a conference put them together and find a new name for the conference.
What would be better? I know this means a lot less revenue than we currently have, but tell me, what option doesn't mean that? I figure that it's better than ending up in C-USA or a full MWC with teams like Colorado State weighing down the bottom of the league.
