Nebraska @ ISU

Oh we were vomiting alright. From the mass amounts of booze that we attempted to drown the sorrows with that is.

But really though, can I raise an honest, no hate-intended question? That TD that Tiller threw...it was an excellent throw, but not necessarily a smart decision. Do you think Arnaud makes that throw? The only reason I say is because Arnaud is obviously the wiser, more experienced of the 2.

A person can only prepare and work so hard, and then it is usually greatest risk = greatest reward.

Huskers had 5 turnovers the week before against Texas Tech. I don't think that 8 turnovers vs Iowa State is that crazy, considering the fact that Tech finished Big 12 play Ranked 8th in TO margin and ISU was Ranked 2nd in TO margin.

The Huskers had a serious TO problem to start Big 12 play and Iowa State took advantage of that. You have to give ISU's 2nd team QB and RB credit for not coughing it up.

I doubt that ISU needs 8 turnovers to win in Ames as long at AA and ARob are healthy, but the Huskers are in the giving mood, we'll take them.

Good point, I don't think AA would have made that throw. BUT if he was healthy and playing I think we win a little more comfortably. (still assuming the 8 TOs of course) We definitely had more golden opportunities than we took advantage of.

Lots can happen between now and this game but I would be very surprised if we won this game. But nothing would bring me more joy then beating those ******* again.

Ohhhh I'm so enjoying the bookmarking of some of these quotes. They'll be more hilarious after the 40+ point stomping ISU has placed on them this coming season.

Iowa State wins one game and suddenly forgets they're nothing more then Iowa State. Hilarious.

Here's to another AWESOME Insight Bowl though, am i rite guyz? Cause you're ISU, you pwn so much you get to go to awesome bowl's such as the INSIGHT bowl. YEA!

We'll just be on our way to the BCS, with our group of players that wouldn't start for the mighty, mighty Iowa State.[/QUOTE]

Bookmarked for comic relief. Nebraska hasn't been relevant in college football for how long? (crickets)

Can I ask, do you know what the game of football is like? Have you ever played and not on PS2 or PS3?

What is that supposed to mean? About the throw? Cause that was not a throw that an experienced QB would make. I don't know if you saw it happen...but our nickel DB was all over that receiver, and Tiller didn't check off any other receivers. He didn't go through any progressions. Everyone in red was praying he would throw to that receiver, because he was staring him down for so long even our dime corner knew where it was going and attacked. The reason that he caught it was because our nickel took his eyes off the ball for a split second, god knows why. Don't get me wrong, the throw was right on the money, but that didn't make it a good decision

Yeah, I got the feeling that ISU was going with the capitalize off a big play with another big play mentality. It was single coverage.. as I recall, and I'm fairly sure Arnaud would have thrown the pass as well. No offense taken.

Just ignore UNIguy. he's like our version of Blue.. well intentioned.. but a bit on the delusional homerish side.

Your Honor,

I enter this thread as exhibit A in the peoples claim that the self proclaimed opinion as the "Greatest Fans in College Athletics" is false and misleading to the 'skers true doucheyness.

Your fourth post and you are ridiculing a redshirt freshman making his first start with a redshirt freshman RB behind him also making his first start....hmmm....and making comments about the players throwing up on the sidelines like you know what its like to play with the flue.

Not so much.

I am requesting that the moronic chant "GOOOOOOOOO BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG REEEEEEEEEEED GO BIG RED!!!!!!!" Be submitted as exhibit B. It takes a special kind of fan base to have enough people that can sound like Sloth from Goonies to do the slow yell at the beginning. :biglaugh:

were you not the same dude who thinks a-rob is winning the heisman? who also thinks iowa city is FULL of ISU fans?

I rest my case.

Let us not attack our brothers man. We must unite against the common enemy known to all as the Fuskers.

I'm all about that, it just seems hypocritical to hate on Iowa fans that keep talking national championship if we aren't keeping our own fans in check with reality.

I was absolutely not ridiculing Tiller at all. And I made no comment about players on the sideline. But really, its not worth fighting with you over it.

Thanks you guys who aren't hatin on me lol...I trust I'll be welcome back to talk some real football?

Yeah, you bet, come anytime you want.

The Ames Police Dept. should go over budget on manpower to control the Husker fans but the fines should offset the labor costs.
