Nebraska @ ISU

ISU wins. Don't know by how much, but we will. Nebraska might be looking for revenge, but ISU is lookin for a new bit*h and Nebraska bent over once, and they will do it again.

I think that Nebraska will come in looking to knock some heads. It will depend on how we play. It will have to be smart disciplined football. I think this is a strength of CPR football because he seems to think every game is within reach of winning, or losing no matter the situation.

I also think that the team will need help from the crowd as well. It will be November and some may want to stay in, but if Iowa State can put the pressure on early and hammer, hammer, hammer with Arob and Jack Trice is rocking, their shoulders will break, and they will fold.

This will be a highly emotional game for both sides, the defining game for our season, and a huge blotch on their current era of football. I am not predicting a win or a loss, only that it is within our reach, and even say semi-favored at home. But this is ISU, king of heartbreaks so we will see

Hahahahahaha. This thread is hilarious.

You beat the Huskers in 1 game (Due to a game in which an incredibly large number of fumbles occured in area's that were very conveinant for ISU, the odds of that happening again are...small)

Nebraska was a better team by 30 points last year, and ****** the game down their own leg. That was one of the FEW true examples in football of a team beating themselves.

Should Nebraska have less then 10 turnovers this year, they'll win by 30+. That's just the sad reality. But I guess it's nice to see all the sunshine pumping.

Oh, EXTRA lol at the guy who tried to proclaim that ISU would make Nebraska it's *****. Post that anywhere beside a clone board, I'm sure everyone else would like a chuckle as well.

And just think, if we had our starting QB and RB we probably would have won by 14+.
If, If, If........ wow. Turnover's are a part of the game, stop making excuses for losing to ISU.

You're correct, turn-overs are a part of the game. And on that day in particular, you won. Fair and square.

That doesn't change the fact that the amount of turnovers (and their placement) in that game is something that won't ever happen in a game....ever again. You ISU fans can play ignorant and just assume that we're going to fumble the ball 5 times within striking distance, if it helps you sleep at night.

The reality of the matter is, we were a better team last year that couldn't capitilize, and we're sure as hell a better team this year. But don't mind me, we'll let it all get settled on the field eh.

Bold statement.
I won't assume that, I'll just assume we have our starting QB and RB this year and that maybe we'll win with a healthy team this time.:biggrin:

Tell ya what, I'll assume we WON'T fumble the ball five times near the goal line, you assume we will, and we'll just see how things pan out.

Word of warning for you: expect to be upset.

I'm not assuming you will. I'd love for that to happen again, but it is highly unlikely.

And just for the record, it was 4 times. Hopefully, the coach teaches them how to hold onto the football this game!

And just for yucks.. Lets just watch the 8 turnovers again.

Hahaha. It's a sign of where your program stands that the highlight of your season was a 2 point win over us. We're honored?

Gee, what's that all-time series record at again now?

You guys are totally right though, you were dominant last year. I mean, you got to go to such an AWESOME bowl while we just had to play for the conference title and then destroy the Pac-10's #2 team.

You're right guys, I don't see how I can argue with all this Iowa State awesomeness. It's just too difficult.

Says the "Big Red" fan whose screen name is Blue... What does the "N" stand for again??? :wideeyed::wink:

Umm...I'm sorry, what does my display name being Blue have to do with Nebraska being the Big Red? It's a display name. Am I hitting the field for Nebraska right now?

GOOD TRY THOUGH.

Who said it was the highlight of our season? It was a great win, nobody's denying that, but I never said it was our highlight. I'd say the highlight was our bowl victory with a 1st year head coach.
All-time record?? Not sure, my memory doesn't go back that far. It only goes back 1 year, so... 1-0 in favor of ISU.

Oh I'm sure it wasn't the highlight of your season, that's why your coach acted as if he just won the National Title afterward.

Go ahead, enjoy your victory this year, sulk in it even as you are. I know it's the only half-way decent thing that occured to the cyclones within recent years, we'll let you enjoy it.

Until next year of course, when we'll walk into Jack Trice and bend you over, as we do most years. Hopefully you guys can find some other sort of in-season victory to give you hope, ya know, when you're playing in another toilet bowl...like every other year in your programs...wonderful...history :)

Of course our coach is going to act excited when he beat you guys for the first time in 30-something years in Lincoln. That was a big win considering we did it without our QB and RB and half the team was sick.

Stop living so far back in history, if that were the case I'd bring up your epic basketball team. And yes, I know our team hasn't been good in a few years, but at least we have had success in the NCAA tourney. And good luck with your new coach.. Assuming you're like the rest of Nebraska and cheer for Creighton in basketball and Nebraska in Football.

Say what now? I don't know what circles you're near/around, but the Huskers I know would like to see Creighton burn to the ground. I'm one of them.

Oh ok, well the huskers I know cheer for Creighton in bball and are diehard Husker football fans.

You'll find no such thing from me. I'm not even a basketball fan. I just hate Creighton.
