NCAA Tourney Blind Resumes

Why are all of the low end Big 10teams getting in on the mock brackets, yet Okie State keeps getting left out eventhough they have more quad 1 wins and a much tougher schedule?
Yeah, compare OSU's and Michigan's resumes. It is pretty clear which one should be in.

Indiana has seemed to be the most overrated team by human pollsters all season. At every single point of the season I have failed to see how they are ranked higher than ISU unless you reward them for having one or two more wins while playing 7-10 less quality matchups, at some points of the year they haven't even had a better record, just less quality wins.

I guess the media just wants the Big Ten to have a blue blood it lacks in basketball that badly since Michigan State kind of started tailing off.

This won't be too hard probably but whatevs...2 spots...6 teams...which 2 get in? (blind resume)

Team A:
Record: 17-14
League record: 9-11
NET: 78
KenPom: 72
Q1 wins: 6
Q3 losses: 1

Team B:
Record: 17-14
League Record: 8-10
NET: 43
KenPom: 40
Q1 wins: 6
Q3 losses: 1

Team C:
Record: 17-14
League Record: 11-9
NET: 53
KenPom: 38
Q1 wins: 3
Q3 losses: 0
Q4 losses: 1

Team D:
Record: 19-12
League Record: 10-10
NET: 57
KenPom: 50
Q1 wins: 4
Q3 losses: 1

Team E:
Record: 18-13
League Record: 10-10
NET: 37
KenPom: 42
Q1 wins: 5
Q3 losses: 3

Team F:
Record: 18-13
League Record: 12-8
NET: 47
KenPom: 41
Q1 wins: 3
Q1 losses: 1

B and E, A not far behind

Tough to pick the others ahead of those three.

Assuming OSU is Oklahoma State I really don't see how they aren't a lock.

They've been beating or playing pretty even with top 25 teams for over a month straight now.

If OK State doesn't get in it's basically a punishment for the Big 12 being a level above all the other conferences. Everybody knew 8-9 teams were tournament worthy before the season started so you can't suddenly punish them for playing each other instead of playing scrubs.

They didn't have a great record and weren't eligible last year, but they were playing better than most tournament teams at end of year last year. They will be a tough draw for anybody and could likely be underseeded.

We know that the committee thought highly of the Big 12 with their seed unveiling a couple weeks ago. I personally think even though many 'experts' have Okie State out that if they win one in KC they'll be in and the Big Ten will get 8 MAYBE night but not 10

Almost all expert brackets have Wisconsin still in or first four out. Okie State is to me the one team that stands out easily. But they’re behind all the big ten teams listed for getting in. Makes no sense.

How about this. Anyone can take a wild guess at these teams and the conferences.

#19 AP Poll
#29 Net Ranking
#30 KenPom

vs
#30 AP others receiving votes
#20 Net Ranking
#22 KenPom

I mean it's almost like they swapped AP poll positions 11 spots purely because the media has a perma boner for a really average basketball conference and a has been program that was good a few decades ago. That first listed team has been overrated in the polls wire to wire this year.

The worst Big 12 team is Texas Tech with a Kenpom of #53. Wisconsin is #72. They shouldn't even be sniffing the bubble....of the NIT.

Wisconsin fan here, and there is no way they should be in consideration for the tourney. They're trash. Finishing 12/14 in the Big Ten... Turible.
