NCAA Tournament Vegas odds

Depth doesn't matter in the NCAA tournament. I hope we have an 8th guy step up soon, but we'll be fine if no one emerges in that role. Even if you play Fri/Sun and then Thu/Sat, conditioning is never a problem. Depth only helps in conference tournaments.
You are correct conditioning isn't that big of a factor, but depth is a huge issue with any injuries. If ISU can make it to March with no injuries I'm sure their odds will drop significantly, but it's a long ways til then.

The link in my OP hasn't updated, but the place where they get their numbers from did, and Iowa State is now 1 : 75. Slow and steady. Win our first 3 conference games (fingers super crossed) and I'd expect 1 : 40 - 1 : 50 range.

1 : 60 now.

(Again, link in OP hasn't updated since Dec 23rd, but their source for the odds has)

Can't wait to see what happens with both the odds an the rankings if we happen to pull of wins against Baylor and OU.

Wow, we're better than 1:1 odds to win? After going from 100:1 even.

I was in Vegas this past weekend and on Sunday morning it was is 45:1. Interestingly UNI was on the board at 7500:1.

Well Vegas doesn't have us a steal for next year.

Early odds have ISU as 30/1 to win the NCAA championship, which is tied with several others for the 9th most likely team.

This is an odd feeling.

It IS an odd feeling, having ISU with those odds.

I think the best balance of high-odds-payout and likelihood of winning it all, take these:

Kentucky 12/1
North Carolina 15/1
Louisville 30/1
Michigan State 40/1
Syracuse 40/1
Ohio State 50/1
