So what are we saying here? Now that we are one of the big money schools in the conference we should expect more success and more preferable treatment from the conference office and officials?

Yes, especially when you factor in school funding. In the PAC many of the schools have had to subsidize their athletic budgets with student fees and transfers from academics. In the B12 and ISU specifically, these amounts have been relatively small ($1.8M of the $111M in revenue in this report for Iowa State). Meanwhile, arizona received $31M of $124M from transfers from the school/student fees, ASU $19M of $121M, Utah $14M of $116M, and Colorado $12M of $94M. All the PAC schools except Oregon (lots of donor dollars primarily from Nike - 1 year ago they got almost $300M in donor funds!) fund their athletic programs at a higher rate then the other conferences given the lower conference revenue.

UCLA had a 30M deficit ouch. No wonder they are leaving the Pac12.

In the past, this ranking also included one-time gifts for special projects. Does this ranking include one-time gifts or normal recurring revenue? If it is just recurring rev, then this reflects poor financial support from our fan base since our numbers greatly exceed all these schools.

It includes all donations, recurring and one time gifts. Click on Oregon. Last year they got 298M in donations. Driven by Nike funding for a new track stadium.
