174: 5 At large bids available

Thieves: Cael Valencia (Arizona State), John Worthing (Clarion), Lennox Wolak (Columbia), Philip Conigliaro (Harvard), Nelson Brands (Iowa), Tyler Stoltzfus (Lock Haven), Tate Picklo (Oklahoma), Jackson Turley (Rutgers)
Victims: Mickey O’Malley (Drexel), Jared McGill (Edinboro), Logan Messer (George Mason), Donnell Washington (Indiana), Julien Broderson (Iowa State), Troy Fisher (Northwestern), Nick Incontrera (Penn), Tyler Eischens (Stanford)

I think Washington gets 1 for sure.

I am not sure if Tyler Eischens earned a berth or not. I think he did.

How many Valencia’s are there down in Arizona?

Wouldn’t a guy like Joll (took out Broderson in the 7th place match) also be a threat? (even though he didn’t earn an allocation).
Maybe. But I don’t think he has a very good win %, ranking or RPI.

I think it might be more of a bad loss for Broderson, than a good enough win for Joll

Must of been a true 2nd match where Cael Valcenia beat Eischens, so Eischen does need a spot.

He will get a spot ahead of Broderson

Gonna be tough for Broderson to get a spot ahead of Washington, Eischeins, O’Malley, Fisher or Incontrera.

I noticed ASU wrestled Emilio Ysaguirre instead of Jesse Vasquez at 141. Did Vasquez get injured? I know Emilio beat Hardy, but he had a .500 record before that. Surprised ASU would burn his redshirt this year

I'd think Runyon would also be considered a victim as well as possibly Joll. As already discussed had Broderson beat Joll I'd like his chances a lot more.

Injured. Also I never heard but when do they announce the wild cards?

"Victim" in this context is someone who earned an allocation but didn't cash it in. Neither Runyon or Joll earned an allocation.

Agree with @theshadow, their may be guys that never made criteria for a CR or RPI, that will now, but that is rare. Most at Large allocations go to the victims or people that earned the original conference allocation.
