Cabanban was so close. He gets aTD in SV and he’s wrestling in the finals. Wild.
As long as there are not a lot more upsets, I think Broderson can get in. But he has to beat Joll, who is also trying to earn an at large.

I thought Julien wrestled pretty well yesterday after the Mocco match. Hope he can get Joll.
Hopefully this time he doesn’t try to go upper body with a Greco team member
By the criteria both 125 & 174 have a great chance of wildcard if they win today. Am I missing something on why Cabanban doesn’t get a wildcard if he wins today?
He's asking why he would not get a wildcard with a 7th place finish. Who would have a better resume to earn a wildcard then him is his wonderment.
No RPI and wasn't in the Coaches poll prior to conference tournament. I just don't think he has enough exposure prior to the tournament. That said I think he is one of the top 33 wrestlers in the country and top 6 in the conference, but lack of matches screwed his seed.
Cardinale does not seem healthy enough to warrant a spot
There are 4 spots available at 125.
3 guys who earned pre-allocations are now looking for at-large spots. That effectively leaves 1 spot nationally.
I just hate to see this. If you can’t wrestle at conference why can you wrestle at nationals? If someone can give me a couple examples where it played out, I’ll take it back. But otherwise it’s usually that they go to nationals and **** the bed and shouldn’t have been wrestling anyways
I don’t disagree at all, but who knows. Maybe his injury could use another week or two before he’s close to 100%?
There will be a new coaches pull which cabanban will be on plus he meets the minimum of 2 eligible criteria. Placing 1 match out and beating a National qualifier. He has done both. Also some of the previous low ranked or low RPI will drop out after some bad loses at qualifier. I like his chances. First thing first…needs to win this morning.
I don’t know, Mauger was initiating those scrambles. Not sure what else Bam Bam was supposed to do.
