NSCR: NASCAR 2022 Thread

Watching this Vegas race. Looks like Goodyear delivered a real piece of junk tire again this week like last week. Too many blown tires and cars seeming to lose grip and spinning out.

I think the spinning out is also due to the bumps and the car maybe more so than the tires?

Had a meeting so I missed the first part of the race. Started watching just in time to see Truex wreck. Sound isn't on but it looked like yet another blown tire.

Outside the concussion issues, this car has delivered this year. It’s not perfect, but the racing was so much better and more unpredictable this year, especially those boring as 1.5 mile tracks.

Reminds me of the cheat you could do with the pike peak edition car in gran Turismo. Do an endurance race by running the outside the whole race.

Not a Chastain fan, but to knock out Hamlin from getting into the Final 4, he did what he had to do.

That’s what you call riding the rim through turns 3 and 4!

Hell of a move, couldn’t stop watching it on repeat. That being said, wouldn’t be shocked if NASCAR puts a rule in place by the start of next year to prevent anyone from doing that on the 5% chance something happens like a portion of the wall isn’t structurally sound

And that would suck, ballsy moves shouldn't be penalized.
