Name a random player from the past

How about the guy who played his first three years averaging only 3.8 ppg in 50 games around 6 minutes a game. Then when the starting center graduated he moved to center and posted 22.5 ppg scoring from everywhere. He almost single handedly destroyed a very good Iowa team.

Just because a good portion of the world pronounces a 'j' with a sound we would write as a 'y' doesn't mean we should misspell the guy's name. Just because he spells it with a 'J' doesn't mean we should mispronounce it either.

And by the way, 'Velo' is from the French "Ve'lo" for bicycle. The French pronounce the 'v' like it is pronounced in English.
