Nader arrested for OWI?

I have multiple relatives who have gotten in trouble for this, as well as friends of the family. Good people do it sometimes, but it is hard to respect them after it. Cornell Mann got an OWI too after he first got hired. Great guy, but made a poor decision.
You've never made a mistake before? Obviously some are bigger than others, with this being a bigger one. But come on now. You will be cheering him on next fall just like everyone else will be.
I just hope that they make a decision on his sooner than later so we don't end up with a bubu situation.
This won't be anything like the Bubu situation, 2-3 game suspension is all that will come out of it...similar to Babb having to sit out a few games to start the season his senior year
No way a Bubu situation would happen in this case. This isn't nearly as complicated of a legal situation like the Bubu thing was.

I sure don't respect that decision. That's not changing.
If people want to drink at home, fine. If they want to drink at a bar or party, fine.
If they want to drink and then drive themselves home, not fine. Garbage decision that endangers other people.

Agreed. Good people make bad decisions and sometimes others get hurt. Fortunately, this wasn't one of those times.
A lot of life lessons are learned between 18 and 24, most of them are hard lessons stemming from selfish acts. Good people learn from them.
Hopefully by the time classes start in the fall, this will all blow over and we can start the season like the thugs we are!
Still won't help him though. Like anything else, pretty much everything will be considered in his final fate. Grades, work ethic, previous legal issues, etc.
My guess is there wouldn't be enough there for a suspension of more than a few games, but you never know.
This, it's a horribly selfish decision and it puts peoples lives in danger. Driving drunk is a losers decision.
Well, hopefully he learns his lesson. He had a previous arrest/ticket for underage consumption. Hes a college kid who likes to party just like any other college kid but keep it to the bars or at home or at a party. Getting in a car is beyond stupid. Clean it up man and move forward, we're going to need you this coming season.
