BTW, did Fred every publicly explain why he didn't wear a tie? He said he was going to after the season , but I may have missed it. I remember rumors of Diallo commitment and because of his heart. Did that ever come out?

He checked out so early for the NBA that he just didn't see a need for a tie any more.

Some of the nastier/dumber comments clearly came from people who know nothing about college basketball. Chalk that up to sour grapes, I guess. I had to look up to see where Murray State even was - and I can almost always at least narrow a school down to a state! So, for those on that board blasting the state of Iowa, I would remind them that they live in Kentucky.
