this case just got bizzare
and with nothing announced in the Lacina case people are starting to wonder

the article i read said that the family thought that possibly the boy did this to save the family. the other possibility was that he was following instructions to go down there without that direct threat to the family.

let's hope they catch the person(s) responsible and hang them from their fingernails, and then lower body parts.
 
No matter what, someone our age dying always sucks a lot. It's even worse this is one of three in central Iowa this spring.

I had a friend commit suicide after graduating from high school by putting a gun behind his ear and pulling the trigger. Like I said, no matter what, it sucks. Has to be even worse for all those people involved.
 
Reading thru the DM Register thing again, yeah, that stuff sounds like it could have been suicide.
 
Makes sense why dci went back to search the water. They would have been looking for the weapon he would have dropped over the side of the bridge.

I'd like to know what the police think of his parents' story. Like, "why didn't your son ever contact us if his life or his family's life was threatened?"
