Most miles contest

Back in college I might have won this so I guess that won't count. But before I sold it had a 1991 Pontiac Bonneville with over 240K miles on it and still running strong. Those GM 3800 engines were the best.

Just traded my 99 Grand Am this year with about 106k for a brand new 07 Chevy Monte Carlo SS that has about 5600 on it now so do does that count for maybe having a car with the least miles on it?

My wife drives a '94 Ford Escort that hasn't cracked 100,000 quite yet - that might be the strangest proportion on this site...

My grandma has a 1984 Cavalier that probably doesn't even have 60k on it. It's the true definition of an old ladies car. Drives it to church and the store and that's about it. Not a spec of rust on it and she even had to replace the original tires the other year because they were getting dry rot.

She loaned me part of the money I used to buy my Monte so she wanted to drive it a bit when she came to visit. Took about 5 minutes just to explain what all the things did before she even put it in gear. Can't imagine how confusing it might be when she's driven the same car for over 20 years.

I currently DRIVE a 96' Toyota Camry, 259k miles and running strong.

As for the most in one year, my wife drives a 2007 Camry we got 13 months ago (got it on Halloween 2006) and it has just shy of 19,000 miles on it.

Use it to run around town and leave the truck parked in the garage (Helps save $ on ($3.43/gal Diesel)

I got my '06 Charger in August of '06 and now have 34,784 miles on it. My trip to work each day is only 11 miles each way as well. Having all your family in Iowa and WI while living in MN can add up. Plus the monthly trip North 145 miles each way for Guard.
 
1998 Chevy S10 ZR2 - almost 188,000 and still runs good

1988 Lamborghini Countach - 87,000 miles and still a chick magnet.

By the way, the 1st one is the only legit one.....

Yes, and I do, muahaha.

How about least miles for the years. Our 2004 odyssey has 19k miles on it... and we bought it in the summer of 04. So an avg of 6,000 miles a year.

I bought my 2005 Ram in July with 30k on the clock, I now have about 32k so I'm averaging about the same. It's the only way I can afford the gas for the Hemi.
 
My boss in high school had a '88 Honda Accord with over 1,000,000 miles before it was hit by a semi.....he had it fixed and sold it.....last I heard it was over 1.1 million miles, but that was 10 years ago.

Bought it 3 years ago with 18,000. I drive alot for work. Will drive it until wheels actually fall off.
 
92 Nissan Pickup 160,000. After I hit a dear a couple of years ago, I have a whopping 30 bucks in it after I cashed the insurance check. :wink:
