Dance Yrself Clean by LCD. Once the drop hits (around 5:21 in this live version from their MSG show) it's nuts, especially on a killer system.
For a slower, somber song I think Gary Jules' cover of Tears' for Fear's Mad World is terrific. It's a song that can somber your mood on every listen (montage from Donnie Darko in this vid).

Not sure which category this belongs in but I always smile when I hear it.
This song came out shortly after I unexpectedly lost a close friend. It still makes me tear up every time I hear it (though I used to sob like a baby, so it's getting better.)

I realize Maroon 5 is far from hardcore and angry, but these two tracks from Songs About Jane are hits for me when I'm feeling ragey.
