Of all of the great players to play here, which one would you feel most comfortable with having the ball late in a close game. Personally I think it is hard to argue against Justice Thigpen. He hit a buzzer beater three to win at Colorado, Tipped in a bucket with about 1 second left to beat Minnesota, and single handedly brought ISU back against #2 Oklahoma State both in regulation and in OT.
However, I have to give a close second to either Fred Hoiberg or Curtis Stinson.
What are your thoughts?

Fizer hit a few game winners. I remember one against Kansas he banked in from the baseline... sweeeet...

I never thought Hoiberg was that clutch later in his college career, just me. Dedric Willoughby brought it in the big games.

Jake Sullivan has to at least be an honorary mention here for his 3 point ability and free throw percentage.

Maybe not clutch but my most enjoyable by far...Lafester Rhodes vs. Iowa!!!

54 points....from start to finish he was red hot.

Too many great players... I'd go with Hoiberg, Hornacek, Fizer, Grayer, Stevens, Just-ice, or Willoughby. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I agree with Dedric as well. He had huge games against Kansas and UCLA his senior year. Even though we lost those games Willoughby definately was not to blame.

Exactly, Tinsley was just money for us when we needed him - getting the ball to the right people at the right time. Gotta give love to the floor general.

Tinsley missing the last shot of the Hampton game automatically disqualifies him for me.

Haha yeah but doesn't seem like that in anything you enjoy. There is always someone who you trust always but they let you down once. I would still say Jamaal 99 times out of 100 he'd be the man.

so ill say 99% instead of 100%

For those who got to see him play, what about Barry Stevens? I know he did hit that game winner against Missouri.

For me, my vote is with Dedric.
