More Trouble for Barta

Because making fun of how clone fans behave is best done on an isu site.

How Clone fans behave?

I spent a couple hours Saturday night after the game with Jimmy Hartlieb, a close friend and a former Iowa starting quarterback (he now lives in Madison, Wisconsin and says that in all the games he has sat through at Camp Randall Stadium, he has NEVER heard the home team booed). Since I watched the game on television and Jimmy was at the game, I asked him right away about the booing situation. I assumed it was mostly the student section, but I was properly corrected.
Why did I assume otherwise? I know better than to give Iowa fans the benefit of the doubt. I sat in Section R as a kid and listened to Chuck Long get booed when he had a rare bad series or quarter. I stood on the sidelines to hear a young Matt Rodgers get booed before he turned into an All-Big Ten performer. I heard it rain down on Jim Hartlieb when he failed to beat the number one team in the country, the Miami Hurricanes, in what was his fourth career start. I distinctly remember what it felt like to step onto the field at homecoming in 1993 to be welcomed by a chorus of boos. I then sat in the stands and listened to Matt Sherman get verbally abused for the latter part of his solid career.
On Saturday I sat in the KWWL studio and sat up in my chair when I heard what I thought were boos. ‘No way,’ I though to myself. Booing? Kyle McCann? The hard-luck kid turned Big Ten leader in passing efficiency? In the midst of trying to upset the number seven team in the nation? The two men calling the game for ABC were also confused; almost alarmed.

Meh...
MVC thinks s/he is hitting Cyclone fans with all these "original" slams. Let him/her live in his/her little fantasy world. It may be all s/he has...

$6 million definitely shows up on the budget. Or grows from money trees, you decide.

The Rhoads buyout isn't in the 2017-18 budget for $6m. So where is isu's going to come with money for Hockey? You wanted me to provide a link saying isu is too poor for Hockey or Baseball and I did just that.

Maybe you should ask again about isu's 8-18 record against Iowa in Ames for football.

Original? Now that would be newsworthy. This is the best fantasy world I can find.
