More Trouble for Barta

Actually it makes perfect sense. When you reach up to block a shot but your hand can only come up to eye level accidents are going to happen.

10-0 my bad. Same difference. They were 10-0 taking on Purdue and they couldn't even sell out their own senior day.

10 inches of snow the night before didn't help.

Iowa's 62k attendance for that game was higher than ISU has ever had at a football game. Are you attempting to insult Iowa? Because you're failing pretty spectacularly.

The premise of your Hawkeye brethren is that ISU is dog crap and Iowa is amazing. Naturally, based on that premise it's astonishing to me than an amazing program can't even sell out their own senior day when the team is 10-0 on the verge of winning the Big 10 West.

Again, based on their premise, it would make sense that ISU wouldn't have great attendance given their losing seasons.... The fact that ISU has had losing seasons and still gets 50k+ per game is actually amazing in most people's opinions.

And apparently Iowa fans weren't allowed to buy tickets for that game until they found out about a snow storm....not like that game didn't have tickets for sale when they were 4-0,5-0,6-0,7-0,8-0, ect ect ect

Yes, Kinnick has a larger capacity too. Ole Miss probably has a larger stadium than Miss St. Tons of schools do against an instate school. I don't get boasting this argument.

ISU had 40,600 in attendance when they were playing to win the Big12 North vs Missouri in 2004. YIKES!

Speaking of Barta, I don't know how he does it. Just got a $5 Million donation from a family. Dude just flat out raises money, no matter what else is going on.

Yep, it was a pretty awful showing and most ISU fans would agree. However it was 13 years ago, not 2 years ago. It was just another reason that while ISU had won some games, the program as a whole was stagnant and Pollard made a coaching change.

Again, the premise by you hawk fans is that ISU is crap and Iowa is not. So ISU not showing up would make more sense. Makes no sense why a 10-0 team with everything in front of them can't sell out a senior night game when the tickets were on sale for months prior.

Jebus, this is just stupid.

Hawk fans don't say ISU is crap, their record says that.

That is great that you have a core of fans that show up no matter what, Iowa does too. They could have ISU type seasons and they would still draw a minimum of 55,000-60,000 fans. So what?

I've heard it from many football fans who aren't ISU fans. Media talks about how the fans show up even when the team is losing.

But if you want a link, here is one.

https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/05/08/iowa-state-fans-most-loyal-college-football/22076229/

Did you just link an article that referenced a Reddit user as its source?

You are going to have to produce a lot more links since you said "The fact that ISU has had losing seasons and still gets 50k+ per game is actually amazing in most people's opinions."

I really don't believe you with the amount of empty seats in HISTORIC KINNICK stadium.

Must suck to not like your AD.

The AD I hate raises money like crazy and puts a winning product on the football field. The AD you love puts the worst P5 football program in the field.

If those were my choices, I'd rather hate the AD and be good than love the AD and suck balls.
