Monte traded to the Pistons

It's an expiring contract, of course Cade will be getting the ball first and foremost. He also is coming off injury and the Pistons will need someone to handle the ball when Cade sits. Monte is also a veteran guard that has playoff experience on a new team with little guard experience.

I’m not ashamed to admit that when Fred left for Bulls I stopped my almost 40 years bulls fandom (lived near the UC for 14 years) and just cheer for every Cyclone team now.

I became such a Nuggets fan that I couldn’t stop when MM got traded. The best thing for my new Cyclone fandom would be getting Tyrese some help at Indy. They were the absolute worst team in nba the games he missed but pretty competitive with him. If they could’ve even been .400 when he was hurt they’re in playoff hunt.

Knock on wood but despite his size he’s also been generally healthy.

MM is potentially my favorite Cyclone athlete all-time. I didn't watch the NBA until he went to the Nuggets. I found the Wizards hard to even find, so I stayed a Nuggets fan, even went to Game 2 vs the Lakers. I was happy to see he's still a fan of the Nuggets too. Glad he gets to go play in front of friends and family. I'm sure he is happy to be home!

This. Pistons are super young, and wanted some veteran leadership. A second round pick isn’t much, and they’re only committed to Morris for a year.

Are you sure? I literally live here - nobody cares - especially since they moved the franchise from Auburn Hills to Downtown. Of course, a big part of that is an owner who cares less about winning and more about how much that franchise can line his pockets (why the franchise moved Downtown). Of course, a big part of that disconnect being the owner lives 4 time zones away from the team he owns.

They have their 2022 1st rounder Jayden Ivey who is a good, young PG too though. I think he’d get the bulk of the minutes if Cunningham sits.

Nuggets play a fun brand of basketball. Lots of passing and cutting. Not everything is a 3 pointer which I love about it
