Obviously not the most pressing concern at this point, but does he have a redshirt year available to him? If not the NCAA certainly better step forward with immediate approval of a medical redshirt if he decides to take 2015 off and come back to finish his career the following years.

Tough stuff for a college kid to be going through, good luck to him, I'd love to see him on the field again someday but we can worry about that later.
Horrible news for a young person to hear. MM will beat this like he's done most things in life. Hit it hard Mitchell! We'll be cheering for you on or off the field.
