And I'm not trying to paint all people in his shoes as depressed loners either. I don't know this guy from Adam. But when you just look at the limited information, it would not be surprising for someone in that position to make that decision, and also for the family to be adamant that isn't the case. No one wants to say they expect that.
Maybe some local state troopers, and that's probably it.
People underestimate how easy it would be to hide a body in rural Iowa.

People like to poke fun, but who's to say these creatures aren't out there hunting or experimenting on humans?
There are areas of the planet we haven't explored and even the military is saying they see aircraft that aren't following the rules of physics.

The reason his case isn't being treated as the truck drivers has been is because the situation is a lot more common.
Exactly. He didn't leave a wife and kids behind. He appears far more likely to have intentionally disappeared.
