This is Wisconsin's opportunity to take back the cheese industry!You cannot spit in that region without landing on a 5-10k dairy. And everything in between is strawberries, almonds and everything else they grow. It's wild. Definitely recognize some of the dairy names impacted by the lake.
It's also wild how deep those wells are. I was talking with the owner of the host farm we work with out there and he was saying guys were drilling well over 1000 feet now to hit water.also they've been sucking so much water out of the ground there...... elevation is 30 feet lower since 1925

There are wells that are thousands of feet deep in Iowa. Just depends where you are at in the state and what aquifer you are trying to tap into.
