Minute Splits

This guy is a troll, but I'll bite. Technically everyone misses most of their shots..

If I had to guess....OP is serious in his post and didn't realize he forgot Thomas and then, instead of admitting he forgot a player, decided to act like he doesn't like Thomas.

My thought: You're clearly not paying attention to Thomas's last few games, and your concept of saving players for the Final Four is ridiculous.

You have to win the game you're playing that day. You don't pace yourself now.

Basically, I agree that those players are all on the team. After that, it's a dumb idea.

Thank you.

The dream of a Final Four is great, but making statements like the OP looks like something for a team/program that is USED to those types of accomplishments. It's not impossible, but it's really not likely.

This is a nice ISU basketball team, and they can play with/beat lots of teams, but anyone who has watched even one game (including the last two schizophrenic outings) should know that planning for a Final Four is crazy.

I stopped after two pages. I paid for all I could read but I couldn't take more than half a plate.

Where do all these nerds with a sure fire plan to improve Fred's coaching come from? It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I didn't realize you could thumbs up your own posts....apparently you can, troll on OP

Hi kids, do you like violence? Wanna see me stick 9 inch nails through each one of my eyelids?

Let's just say I'm not going to be a happy camper the day he goes 1/6 and we lose close. If we are serious about a Final Four run, Jones needs those minutes.

OP so should have we been benching Niang these last 2 games in the 2nd half he wasn't so good in the 1st. You probably should leave the coaching decisions to Fred. SMH

The rest of the regular season backs up my point.
So because of the way Thomas started the season you think the last five games gives no indication of turning things around? That's a clown statement. Players can improve and if you're looking at what he did in December versus what he's doing now, you're just plain silly.

The day Hoiberg tries to predetermine minutes is the day he's no longer a good coach.

He is all about flow and who's hot.

This is how our minutes splits should end up:

Niang 31
Hogue 28
McKay 28 (Posts I want to keep fresh for Final 4 so don't give too much over 30 min)
Long 31
Morris 33
Jones 31 (how does anybody expect him to get in any rhythm with these sporadic minutes)
Nader 18 (Still want to give him minutes as has shown he can be a sneaky scorer)
Jackson/Edozie come in for foul trouble depending on the position.

This smells like a recipe for success! Thoughts?

thanks, coach
