I remember seeing one of the assistant coaches in the DSM airport a couple of months before Royce committed here. At that time, he said it was obvious Royce was an incredible talent, but they had LOTS of vetting to do. At that time, he said if he had to make that call that day before all the vetting took place he wasn't too positive it would work, but was certainly worth the effort. Truer words were never spoken.

Wow, maturity is a wonderful thing. Until I read this I thought he had just 1 situation at Minnesota. Congrats to Royce for getting his head on straight and turning his life around. I wish him the best in the NBA.
