It has to be him. This would have been easily dispelled by Central Michigan saying "oh no, that's a GA and his name is _____". But McElwain didn't do anything to tamp down the rumors in his presser. If it wasn't him, it would have been discredited already. There's also a video out there of him very clearly trying to hide his face with a play came towards him out-of-bounds.

Also worth noting McElwain was on Michigan's staff in 2018. He's apparently pals with Harbaugh as well.

Probably saw it on film and read his keys properly. Or he gambled and got away with it.

I used to be an assistant HS coach in Texas. We would literally tell our middle school coaches to try and steal their signs when there were live scouting the game from the press box. It was totally legal as far as we knew. Did it work? Sometimes. Smart coaching staffs would change up their signals though so we didn't put a whole lot of stock in it when game planning. Unless it was obvious and they never changed their signs. :rolleyes:

But would you be happier with another Georgia national title? Or THE Ohio State University?

Or Washington or Oregon winning it during the year that they helped kill the Pac-12?

The Deacer's biggerten account is hilarious right now. The panic level of michigan fans seems to be increasing.

It isn’t increasing and no alums are even remotely worried about this. Some crazy Walmart wolverines are upset but again you can’t listen to those people.

Is it a mic drop? Just a bunch of people who counted on the ncaa being their typical slow selves never expecting their fellow members to call ******** and act during the season.

Still not worried, it’s only game day and Michigan is about to unleash a lawyer shock and awe campaign on the conference. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back on the sideline for OSU and outside of that game no other game will be close. Still allows for the annual big ten championship slaughter and playoffs. A bit surprised but not worried.

However I do now need to change my stance on Michigan never leaving the big ten for realignment
