Just going to enjoy that ride and have fun with it. No one expected this so that makes it fun.
I am going to go against the grain here. A great effort by a bunch of overachievers. Beat everyone, regardless of how bad they were.....to put themselves in a position to play for the whole bag of nuts. Not a Hawk fan.....but cannot fault their effort or their successful year.
Congrats to the Hawks on a great season. I am glad they lost, but they have to have been happy with how most of the year turned out.
From a pure football perspective, would have rather seen Iowa make it over MSU. At least Iowa's offense has multiple dimensions to it.
I guess if Cook can get healthy MSU will look good again, but their offense was downright awful tonight. If his shoulder injury is serious, I think they'll get bulldozed in the CFP.
Oh well, at least now some Iowa fans I know won't be totally insufferable. Wait, who am I kidding, they still will be.

Cook was clearly not going to win the game with his arm. He had that one great pass, but other than that there were a lot of ugly ducks and massive misses.
1 really good defense and 1 one armed QB duking it out...both with green and white on.

I hope all those Hawkeye fans kept the tags on their new gear they bought for the game... eh f*ck it, walmart will return anything. Customer service line at walmart will be longer tomorrow than it will be the day after Christmas.
Anybody have an audio clip of Eddie Podolak letting out a groan when MSU scored? I'm sure it was epic.
