Miami vs Florida

Showed the Florida QB doing the same last year after he had been booed in another game for a poor performance.

I can't remember what Woodbury did on either side of the 'shoosh' but I'd bet what he did to 'earn' it wasn't as cool as a big football play.
He dunked it and shooshed his own crowd since Twitter Hawks criticized him for never dunking. I think that's the same season Zach McCabe told Iowa fans to suck a fat one. The Hawkeye fan base is something else.

Fla QB did his after scoring the go-ahead TD on a tough run late in a game. A truly redemptive moment.

Miami QB made his after a nice pass...and I'm not sure it was directed at his fans.

So yep, both are cooler than a footer dunking a basketball.

I've seen half a dozen "targeting" calls worse than the garbage called against us in the Alamo Bowl already. We were so screwed.
I don't think we would "get to the edge" against Miami or Florida...just saying.

I like watching these two teams/programs play and feeling confident that ISU would at the very least be competitive with them.

Also a good reminder of the kind of talent Montgomery was/is.

and then missed the delay of game call on 3rd down (at least according to the espn game clock).
Delay of game calls aren't necessarily immediately when the clock strikes zero. The back judge watches the play clock and once it hits zero, he has to check that the ball is unsnapped before he can blow the play dead. It should be only a split second but some back judges seem to take forever to check once the clock hits zero.
