MESS named OC

ah I guess; I think he deserves to go down with it and I have accepted we are now a minimum of 1.5 years to get a decent offense even if mess was fired today no matter the hire; not sure people realize how far down the rabbit hole we have fell. I am completely convinced that rhoads has no idea how to engineer a practice format correctly. The team has came out flat every game this year. The offense has no grit and that comes from not practicing correctly. Working harder is not the answer; efficiency; production; systems are the name of the game in business not sure why football was is any different. I am fine with 10$ tickets the rest of this year and next I will probably start going to games again; we are officially back to the macarney era.
Your comments are out of hand... Trust me I as much as anyone are with you on the disappointment side, but I really don't believe we have fallen as far as you are exaggerating. Trust me during that game there was some feel of Nebraska-esque blowouts from the 90's. But honestly that was one f-ing game. Way too much of a doomsdayer, that was easily the best team in the Big 12, to even be in that game, we needed to stop/slow them down(which we did early), and have long drives resulting in scores, we all know the second part did not happen primarily because of 2 things, horrible play calling and horrible line play. On the play calling side Mess is 100% to blame, why was the early game plan to throw the ball?? No diamond back formation, no Woody lead blocking?? All thing that worked the previous week against another stout defense in TTech..... Everyone is so concerned on here with throwing the ball deep, the line play does not allow for that so go with the bread and butter plays that were killing it the previous 2 games. Parting words, Mess must go, CPR is a trusting and honest person, but that game alone left the worst taste in my mouth ever from an offensive productivity standpoint,
Also Herman was getting canned, this is general knowledge.....

From where? A fake email posted by someone making **** up? If Herman was getting canned, I doubt he would have coached the bowl game. If that's true, then how in the hell does Mess still have a job?

Herman wasn't getting fired. A guy who can't cut the mustard at Iowa State doesn't magically have the same position gift wrapped for him at a place like Ohio State.

Search past posts it is there, statistically under Herman we were no better than we are now.

Everything recently posted about Mess is pretty much what people criticised Herman for. Herman looks like he doesn't completely suck at OC with OSU talent. I'm not a fan of Mess's stint but we have had two OC's under Rhoads one was highly heralded but both have lacked in performance. Is it a talent issue or an OC issue?

If an OC needs OSU talent for their scheme to not completely suck, then yes, it is likely the OC.

Wow the more I hear the more I am convinced Messingham will be our offensive coordinator next year. Sorry folks but it looks like no changes are coming.
