I have seen lines outside the door to the men's room on the West side, but the line moved fast, like said above. An exit door would help, so guys don't have to cross the entrance line. I always liked the "trough's" for efficiency, looks like they are gone. The women were complaining outside about how fast the mens line moved.

I can answer this one. They renovated the Club facilities so that they could charge more for those seats. That money (along with the suites) was used to finance Phase 1. Really, what would you have them do, half-*** the Club Section? They had to do it first class to get people to pay that kind of money. Yeah, it sucks that the Men's lines are that long. I went down the steps to a kybo just outside the E. gate and was back in my seat in less that 5 minutes.
Bottom line is that JP HAS to keep that construction going this offseason. Otherwise fans are going to wonder whether it is worth it. I think that he will.

My experience from the last few years (haven't been this year :sad) was that despite the size of the line the line does move fairly quickly... I usually try to go after the band does their half time show, that way I see the band and the line is slightly (though not much) shorter
From what I've seen and heard, the ratio of men's to women's "facilities" used to be more uneven. The new restrooms evened it out and without the trough, you can't stand as close in the men's.

Leaving the OU and Iowa games early last season was less than enjoyable.
I attempted to go to the restroom during a drive in the MIDDLE of the 1st quarter (6 min left). The line was at least 100 people deep. It was nuts, there were so many people you actually had to concentrate (and I was sober) to figure out where the line started. It's a joke on the east side. I waited for a few minutes but couldn't stand to miss any more plays so I just held it, although that isn't fun.
I could tell it hurt. Sure, maybe not as much as getting kneed in the groin and sent to the hospital, but still, it hurt.
I dont mind the lines, what I hate is the a-holes that act like they dont know there is a line and cut... Damn they should be thrown in the trough!
If only there were some way that in that 100 yards of concourse there could be enough restrooms to accomodate about 25,000 people all at once so there was no waiting. I GOT IT, we can build multiple level restrooms with elevators and escalators so that everyone can pee at the exact same time and the restrooms will stick up past the top of the upper deck! Maybe at the top they could install windows in the restrooms so you can watch the game while waiting in line. CMON PEOPLE there are 50,000 people in a structure whose purpose is to cram as many people in the line of view of the playing field as possible without losing some level of comfort. THERE ARE GOING TO BE LINES AT BATHROOMS AT SPORTING EVENTS WITH 50,000 PEOPLE. guess what, I'm betting going between quarters, during timeouts, and at halftime probably also seem to make the lines longer.

No - I'd rather he wait to do the Club section until he does the east side renovation. I really don't see the need to do it all at once, at the inconvenience of thousands.
Yes, I agree. The renovations MUST continue this off season. Although I'm not sure they are planned to do so, are they? People everywhere on the east side were pretty torqued on Saturday. Forever to get through lines, both restroom and concessions. I get a kick out of the fact that there seem to be only TWO condiment stations on the entire east side of the stadium - and they're generally empty by about the 2nd qtr.
Just a handful of dumb stuff going on over there. At least this year they didn't run out of water the first game. Of course, it wasn't 90 degrees, either.
Mee too. In addition to the better scenery but also, I would guess that if you do marketing research you would find there are more women that wouldn't be willing to go to a sports game because of the restroom satisfaction than there would be men. Now before I get jumped on by some lady Cyclonefanatics, I'm not saying all women will make that an issue, just that there are a larger number that a bad restroom issue will deter than there are men. I'd be willing to put money on that.
This is probably fair. I don't think that a lot of us feel that way - if we'll visit the squalor that is a Port-a-Potty, we're fine with pretty much any indoor plumbing. I think that there are some people who don't care as much about the game, though.
Not worth a real bet, BUT, we females almost tend to expect RR lines. To not have them at FB a couple of years ago was great. I do see why men are irritated at the apparent lack of common sense regarding location, facilities, etc. Maybe Ben Bruns can help.
