McKinley Wright visiting June 12th

There are alot of scholarships, so that is a possibility. However, Jackson will be a senior when McKinley is a freshman- so 2 PG's in this class may be a stretch. I would think we sign 3-4 post players with Burton, Holden and Bowie all graduating. I can also see a need to sign a couple 3 point shooters to replace Naz and Matt. Ideally, one of those shooters could play combo guard
 
In an ideal world I believe the staff wants a true PG and a combo guard plus a SF type player

I'm hoping that Jakolby Long can follow Matt's footsteps and be a Three & D guy! McKinley would be great to pick up early, could really help land a couple good forwards if we sign a PG early in the class.
 
Hopefully the state of UM's hoops program will allow us to land McKinley this summer. He would be a building block piece for a very important class.
 
Another update with Wright.
Has some good things to say about ISU
"I visit Iowa State on June 12,â€￾ said Wright. “It is a great program and the fanbase is crazy. I saw them play Oklahoma and I had a great time. I am looking forward to hanging out with the guys and getting to know the coaches better and stuff like that.â€￾

3 and D would be great, but I'm hoping for more. I'm hoping for a scorer -- with Niang gone, I think we're gonna need to find one.

We've been saying that for 6 years but it hasn't worked out in our favor at all. Even with Fred's deep Minnesota connections we couldnt close the deal on any of their guys. I'll believe it when I see it unfortunately.

Amazing how bad Minnesota is every year with all the talent they get from in state.

Forreal. D1 Minnesota, the AAU team McKinley is on, is the number 1 AAU team in the mid west. Got to think that Minnesota could land at least one of their top players for 2017.

Coffey as a FR isn't enough to save Pitino, but the next guy will be glad he's there.
