McGees's dunk

that dunk was sweet. I thought white did it at first. then saw it was mcgee and my mouth dropped. this team has so many key contributors. he is definitely one of them.

Meh? A 6-2 guard goes over a guy and perfectly times a rebound to flush it with his off hand and it's meh? You've got some seriously high standards.
Fully agree. If you asked me to give McGee 3 labels it would be 3 point shooting, defensive hustle and offensive rebounds. Dunking or tip in dunks are not things he seems to do on the court and for a 6'2" guard to come in and dunk it over 2 Tech defenders and Royce is awesome.

I think it was one of those dunks that was so impressive in live action--it was sweet until I realized that it was Tyrus, then it was amazing--that the replay was a letdown. I think I must be watching too many Blake Griffin thunder dunks. <facepalm>

Between that dunk, and Royce's between the defender's legs play, we had a really good highlight night.

Don't forget McGee on free throw rebounding. He beats his man, 75% of the time, down low in the blocks. It's amazing to watch him.

Paging ISUagronomist to post it on thread..........

Out of the whole highlight reel from the 2nd half last night, I would put turnaround assist from the top corner to Ejim as perhaps the best. No idea how he turned, saw him and passed it all in the same motion.

How at least Royces between the legs and finish wasn't even a top 10 play on sportscenter, let alone McGees is beyond me.
if Blake Griffin had done what Royce did, espn would give him his own show.

I will add that I think he is not 6-2. He seems closer to 6 foot even to me. But who knows.
I guess what I am saying is he has a crazy vertical.

If it wasn't on ESPNU, it would have made it. Even a Fox game would be more seen.

FIFY (can't bold on the mobile app)

I was in the nosebleeds for this game. When I saw it happen, I thought it was Percy. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out McGee had ups like that
