I loved McCarney as coach here. I loved his fire and passion. No doubt about it, great to see him back and saying real, real great things about ISU.

Somebody should make a slideshow that shows elements (facilities, personel, etc) of ISU football before McCarney came vs today. He single handily changed the culture of ISU football and I miss him. Excited that Campbell is embracing ISU's past.

This. To take ISU from an absolute graveyard to competitive was a huge accomplishment. His overall record isn't great but what he did for ISU football was.

Man, 10 years since Mac was let go....

There has to be a spot for Mac in the AD somewhere, doesn't there? It'd be so awesome to see him on the summer tours and coaches dinners.

Yeah, great quote and I like the unintentional but coincidental use of the word "jacked" - as in Jack Trice Stadium.

I wish we got to see his entire speech. I'm quite sure he used one of his very favorite, oft used, words, "phenomenal" a few times.
