Matte helmets flushed

For **cks sake, Ruby, they haven't worn the matte helmets yet, I think gomer is trying to mess with people and you fell for it.
It's true, they actually flushed them. I hear the Ames water department is ******.
That's glossy, son. You may want to get your eyes checked out...I had a friend whose rods and cones were misaligned and it made him unable to see certain light waves reflected off of red surfaces. Maybe you have the same issue?
Don't know that it's official but it should be. They didn't look bad by themselves imo, but they sure clashed with the jerseys last week. A lot better with the shiny helmets today. Another loss but we looked better, and played better too. Maybe the fashion police are on to something.
OK, well, then, rather than doubling down on my stupidity like most other posters, I'll admit that I was horribly wrong, I was camping last weekend, an idea ginned up by my wife, and was listening to the game on the radio. However, in my slight defense, I expected the matte helmets to be a unique thing for a special game, but I guess I wasn't expecting the NDSU game to be our pinnacle this season.
