The problem is, you shouldn't have to build your team on Diamonds in the Rough. Those guys should be the players who push you over the top. You need a base of good to great players who live up to their 3 star billing. Then those steals make you that much better.

OMG the depth of CMCs teams vs Rhoads and especially Chizik is incomparable. We might have had a few really good players under the previous regimes, but once they were tired or hurt we had nothing behind them. Ray Lima is one of our best defensive players, but when he missed significant time last year, the defense was still great. In year past, all the way to McCarney, we always had a problem when one of our stars was out of the game.

We mastered the art of playing 230 pound d-tackles.
