If they get him great but I think they can find a transfer or two that wiyld be just as good or better.
Hopefully we can find a reliable sniper.

I'm guessing we get one regular and one 5th year graduate transfer.
If someone sent him a tweet saying how ISU is ranked higher than KSU and MSU I have a good feeling that he would retweet it.
5th year transfers don't just grow on trees. Not saying we won't land one, but Iowa St has been very lucky with the 2 we've got. There are just way less than regular transfers.
The problem is everyone wants a sharp shooting 5th year transfer, but you are really narrowing the list when you look for a specific type. There are just not that many good players that redshirt, then graduate, and then want to transfer.
I did do some research of great shooters that could possibly be 5th year transfers, but I'm still not sure they are going to be graduating this spring or summer.
The one I did find that is a RS JR and is a great shooter.....Tyler Haws from BYU. I would love to have him, but I doubt he's on pace to graduate because his RS year was probably his mission year.
***disclaimer: I also realize if there is any kid in the country that fits this description, then Fred and Iowa St should, and probably will be, automatically on the short list of potential schools.
Just wait it out. Looking at Kane's numbers would you have picked him out as a player ISU should target?
24% from 3, 40% FG%, 52% FT%

Any word on Bobbitt? If we landed him and either Malou if eligable or a solid transfer (Don't care if he sits out a year), I think we would be good. I have confidence in Monte, Niang, Nader and Hogue running the show with Thomas, McKay, Naz, Custer and SDW backin them up. I would feel much better if we got a solid consistant shooter at guard in case Naz/Thomas can't get it done next year.

There is a certain shooting guard from Niagara that is one of the top scorers in the country that will graduate in May and his dad played in the NBA, will he leave a team that has won only 6 games... most likely. There is a recent artile about him and his dad.
