I knowww... I was being cheeky. It was an enjoyable watch. Didn't watch with the kids though, they got spooked too much by the first short, and the subsequent ones are justifiably more suited for older kids. They still ❤️ Groot though.

So far, early media reviews are all over the place. Everything from almost hits the bullseye to it's a giant mess. From the few I read, it looks like they got access to the first 4 episodes.

I read all of these they had listed out and I'd say there were all largely positive. It is also showing 86% on Rotten Tomatoes right now, which is pretty solid for a TV series. And yes, I think they only saw first four episodes.

I’m sure it cute and fun but I doubt it’s gonna be great and most likely won’t be a rewatch. I liked the early Ms marvel episodes but get it took a dump in the second half. This current crop of phases 4 stuff isn’t leading me anywhere. Over the past few weeks I’ve been going back and watching the earth phase movies and really wondering why they didn’t the formula. Those stories were just so good and deep.
 
Just watched She Hulk Episode 1. I liked it, but (shocker), felt it was too short.

There is one scene in particular that I thought needed at least one more line of dialogue.

What the heck. It’s essentially a prequel anyway.

The courtroom scene where TItania comes busting through the wall needs at LEAST a single line explaining what she’s doing there. Even, “Oh, wrong courtroom, my bad!” would have worked.

I suppose she was working for, or she was after the defendant.

And oh yeah, is Damage Control going to come after Jennifer Walters now?

I was entertained enough with the first episode. I agree with your criticism though. Wish they would have dropped a couple episodes off the bat to get a better feel for what this really will be like going forward. I also thought I would hate the CGI of this series based on previews, but I walked away thinking eh, it was decent enough guess.

Yeah. It was fun enough. I'll watch again next week.

I saw an episode on YouTube (New Rockstars, I think) where they explained that CGI is a many layered thing. It seems that for the Hulk they have plenty of data built up from years of experience, but for She-Hulk they were (naturally) starting from zero. They simply weren’t finished building it all when the commercials needed to run.

Hulk definitely looks better on average than She-Hulk, so it looks that way
