There is speculation that Doctor Strange will be making an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. There are set photos being leaked which show Thor and Loki walking the streets of New York City (even though they are filming in Australia). Here's a video from Nerdist that shows some of the set photos (so there will be spoilers - although probably not major ones) and they also have a pretty decent theory on what the narrative for Ragnarok may be:

I'm trying to avoid reading too much into it, but it definitely would NOT be surprising to see Dr. Strange show up in some capacity for Thor: Ragnarok at all as the studio tries to establish his character in this universe as thickly and as quickly as possible. I'd be all for it. It just makes sense, not to mention his abilities could easily get interwoven in some way, shape or form.

It is pretty well-known that John Krasinski was one of the finalists to be originally cast as Captain America, while the part ultimately went to Chris Evans (love Chris Evans in the part). With that said, here is a fun interview with Conan where John talks about auditioning:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/capta...nan-about-testing-for-captain-america-a144773

With that said, watching John in 13 Hours really changed my future view of him for potentially being cast in an upcoming superhero movie, which I was previously was pretty set against. I personally thought he was spectacular in 13 Hours and would now love to see more of him in some type of action blockbuster, particularly in the Marvel or DC world. With that said, I can't think off-hand the perfect part for him, but I'd be on board for something. Any ideas? Maybe Green Lantern???? I know he is already cast in the role of Jack Ryan in the new upcoming new TV series for that character, so he is definitely still sticking around some in the action world for now. That dude got jacked (ripped) for 13 Hours if you haven't already seen it.

This movie is a combination of two major comic book storylines.

Jeff Goldblum!

Hulk in armor!

Thor finds missing infinity stone!

Only fifteen months to go!

Ok, after further thought, I'm left only with DC roles. John Krasinski as either Hal Jordan or Booster Gold. No make it happen DC!!!!!

So, I finally got a chance to watch the Pilot episode of "The Tick" last night and I've got to say I really enjoyed it. Not only was the acting very good, but I thought the cinematography was great as well on the Pilot. Granted, one thing I don't like with many TV series is that they spend so much more money on the pilot always in order to draw people in, then back off their budget a ton for most of the futures episodes. Therefore, that is why sometimes the first episodes of stuff almost feel like movies, then later episodes feel so much more like a TV show. A recent good example of this was Preacher and I'd almost say the same for Agents of Shield Season 1 as well.

Anyway, to get back on track, I really loved "The Tick" because it seems well-made, well-acted, and is definitely different from most of what is out there right now for superhero flicks. In some ways, the show is kind of a parody on the genre, but not too strong on that. Truthfully, it almost felt like a live-action PG-13 version of The Incredibles, which is kind of a fun concept. Maybe, "The Tick" has always been that way through its previous TV show versions as well as its cartoon version, but I've never seen any of those, so I wouldn't know.

In the end, they've successfully got me hooked and I really hope the thing goes to series. Has anyone else watched the Pilot yet?

Again, sorry, this is in no way Marvel related.

I watched. Its promising. Needed some more Tick action but get its just an intro for him and Arthur. Ill keep with it.

My wife and I watched the Luke Cage trailer last night - I was not expecting that. It looks amazing. I think there may have been a brief clip that was very reminiscent of the hallway fit scene in DareDevil, S1E2 - only this was Luke Cage just messing people up.

Now, getting back to Doctor Strange, I was a little disappointed to stumble upon this:

http://io9.gizmodo.com/see-ghost-rider-ride-into-action-in-set-footage-from-ag-1785046852

The trailers kind of gave the impression that Dr. Strange's power could have been a form of worm-hole manipulation or some other kind of 4th dimension. I just thought would lead to an interesting setup between Dr. Strange, Thor, Bruce Banner, and Tony Stark if they were to discuss the blurred lines between science and magic.

You gotta go full on magic though because there is no way you'd be able to make up enough scientific-sounding mumbo jumbo to explain Dr. Strange's powers. It gets pretty trippy in the comics.

Thought this was pretty hilarious. Obviously, Thor: Ragnarok's director Taika Waititi has proven he can do straight up comedy well, which is fun for little skits like this. However, part of me is a little worried about the high level of comedy that is rumored to be in Thor:Ragnarok, because I don't want them to go overboard with it either. I like some comedy in these movies, but not too much, especially in a movie like Thor: Ragnarok. However, in the end, I'm going to have to just trust Marvel on this one until they prove otherwise I guess.

Fun fact: Taika Waititi was the "buddy" character in the Ryan Reynold's Green Lantern movie.

The Hunt For the Wilderpeople is my favorite movie of the year, so far. I am not worried at all about him.

Man, Marvel is really coming in hot lately with all the new shows getting announced (granted this one hasn't been confirmed), and the latest of which is apparently a New Warriors television comedy television series that will feature Squirrel Girl:

http://tvline.com/2016/08/30/squirrel-girl-tv-series-comedy-new-warriors-marvel/

For those unaware, the New Warriors are essentially a teenage smaller-scale version of the Avengers. Also, there had been a lot of chatter lately about there possibly being an upcoming Squirrel Girl movie, so this TV series is somewhat along those lines, but somewhat a curve ball. It is worth noting that Anna Kendrick has been pretty public lately about wanting the role of Squirrel Girl if it did come to fruition.

As for network, it looks like Marvel is still in the process of actively shopping it around to all the networks and streaming services, so who knows. I'd highly doubt it will be Netflix as the Netflix CEO has eluded that they already have enough Marvel shows in development for now, and he doesn't want any more.

Also, for those who struggle to keep up (understandable) with the full schedule of upcoming MCU TV series, the following is a quick rundown to help out.

- Marvel's Agents of Shield Season 4 (ABC) - September 20th 2016 (wouldn't be surprised of this is its final season)
- Marvel's Damage Control (ABC) - TBA; Was thought to come out in 2017, but some are wondering whether we'll even see this series now (Straight Comedy similar to The Office)

- Marvel's Luke Cage (Netflix) - September 30th, 2016
- Marvel's Iron Fist (Netflix) - 2017 TBA
- Marvel's The Defenders (Netflix) - 2017 TBA
- Marvel's The Punisher (Netflix) - TBA (rumored to be in 2017 somewhere)
- Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 2 (Netflix) - TBA
- Marvel's Daredevil Season 3 (Netflix) - TBA

- Marvel's Cloak and Dagger (Freeform) - 2017 TBA (Teen Romance)

-Marvel's Runaways (Hulu) - TBA; Pilot ordered (Teen drama)

-Marvel's New Warriors (Unknown: Shopping for Network) - TBA (Teen Comedy)

Cancelled Projects: Marvel's Agent Carter and Marvel's Most Wanted

Personal Observation: Marvel seems to be wanting to shift their newly announced projects towards more the Teen and Comedy genres. I'm not necessarily against this as long as they are good shows and fit well into the MCU.

I think the Ghost Rider thing will finish of SHIELD.

I love the show, but I have no interest in that, but I generally think it's something that just won't work well for TV. It's hard to imagine what kind of themes can fit a Ghost Rider story and TV, even at a later hour, and I'm not seeing a connection outside of adding a character that gets little surges of popularity even now and then.

Yeah, I'm not opposed to bringing Ghost Rider into the MCU in some way, I'm just not crazy about doing it in this way. Granted, it is only the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider, and we don't even know what type of origin they plan on giving him yet. Shoot, he could even be an Inhuman version of the character for all we know. With that said, I'm still holding out hope that they are saving the Johnny Blaze version of Ghost Rider for something better like a future movie. I know a lot of people want a Netflix series of him, but I'm still convinced that due to the CGI effects of the character, the character still needs a movie budget in order to do him justice. Even the Netflix series work on pretty low budgets. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Agents of Shield has bigger budgets than the Netflix shows. Granted, look for them to really up the budget on The Defenders in order to add some pazazz.

So what do you think they will do with Mockingbird and that British dude? Bring them back to AOS?

Hard to tell. I'm about 50-50 on it. My guess is that the answer would be yes, but probably not until next season. However, beings how my guess is this is AOS's last season, I'm about 50-50 on whether they get brought back this season or not. If they do, I'm guessing it will be towards the end.
