Interesting. Shoot, I didn't really even find Shang-Chi to be that weird comparatively speaking. If we are talking about a weird-o-meter, Loki is by far #1 and nowhere even close to Shang-Chi.
I’d suggest it. Of the Disney+ shows, it seems to be the most relevant going forward.
I agree though I also think WandaVision will have high relevance going forward as well.
I really like both of those, with Loki getting the slight edge for me. TFatWS sucked, but I don’t think it was entirely the show’s fault. Unfortunate timing.
I forgot to mention Wandavision as well. That one got pretty weird too at times.

Wow yeah, that wasn't what I was expected AT ALL from that trailer, especially the HEAVY Christmas theme to it. Not gonna lie, I'm digging it. If a trailer's goal is to raise whatever expectations you had for a series up, I'd say it succeeded for me. Now I'm pretty excited to see this thing. I'll be interested to see if this series bumps into the new 10 Rings organization at all.
Yeah, I did not expect Disney to go full-on Shane Black with this show. I guess it kinda makes sense given the release window.
This seems even more Christmas than Shane Black's Iron Man 3. Maybe it is deceptively made that way in the trailers, but they seem to really be leaning hard into the Christmas stuff, which I'm liking. I'm also digging Haley's Hawkeye costume as it looks in action. In fact, she looks great overall as the character.

After watching a Hawkeye trailer breakdown of its setting, the characters and groups involved in that series, lets just say I'd be shocked if the Kingpin wasn't involved at all. It just makes too much sense at this point. Then, I saw this article this morning and while still a rumor, I'm pretty much fully bought into the idea and digging it.

The latest What If is pretty good. It has some stellar ideas, but it's plainly a two-part episode (or more), even though they don't say so.
Shang-Chi arrives on Disney+ on Nov 12. That day is being called "Disney + Day" and is the 2-year anniversary that the platform launched. There will be a number of other releases, including Jungle Cruise.

My youngest actually wanted to go with me to Shang-Chi last weekend. We both really enjoyed it. I got pretty much everything I was expecting.
Finally got to Shang Chi. I really liked it! Definitely just a great stand alone movie. Going to be one I rewatch regularly.
