I haven't read a single post wear someone said they were "shocked". I do think it's a huge loss for the team because I felt that MS was a qualifier who could score points and have a outside shot at the podium.

Also the results at this tournament by our other young guys are a bit underwhelming IMO

I agree....this should not surprise anyone.

Cutting weight and following a strict diet plan is not an easy thing to do. Some of these kids are still growing as well. Many years, KJ's plan is to have several guys cut a bunch of weight. Over and over again, it has proved to be an extremely poor plan. Maybe he should have put more focus on a top strength and conditioning program where these guys add muscle mass. Have the wrestlers spend more time on building strength, stamina, and good technique and less time worrying about their weight cut.
