Marcus Fizer Jr.

That 02-03 class was rough: Tim Barnes, Jerome Harper, Chris Alexander, Haluska, and Vroman.
I'm sure this was posted when the article came out, but Jackson Vroman lived quite a life. Highly recommend the article for anyone who missed it.

No, no, no. When Stevens played the Big 8 had huge posts that wore out Hill and Moss. Ever heard of Hoppen and Stipanovich?

Hoppen played at Nebby if I remember right. And "suicide Steve" was at Missouri

For the younger members of CF "Suicide Steve" accidently shot himself while cleaning a gun. The student section chanted that and also brought cap guns to shoot off when he shot free throws. Yep times were different back then and fun to.

Must be someone else. There was some other juco 7 footer that had a ton of hype but he actually made it to campus. I think he only played in like one game and then left the team.

Edit: I got it. Chris Alexander a few years later.

I was a freshman living in Larch Hall (fifth floor) in 2002-03, and Chris Alexander and Tim Barnes lived three doors down from me. We got to be buddies, and they would drink with me on occasion. Anyways, Chris did not travel with the team to Iowa City for the Cy-Hawk game that year. Guess where he watched the game? On my couch with me in my room. It’s a strange feeling watching an ISU road game with a 7 footer who should be playing in the game, but instead he’s having a beer on your couch.

Embarrassing for Marcus Fizer Sr right?

He seems to think Jr can fix ISU's issues but his only offer is Houston Christian, so yeah I think we can do a lot better.
Yep. I have no problem with the guy going to bat for his kid but like, really? Every single school and scouting service missed on a guy who can apparently play 4 positions and shoot like hell?

As other have said, if he wants on the team then he can walk on and prove it. I'm sure someone around here would step up and NIL him all the scholarship money just based on name value alone
