Many forget...

The only thing I've been concerned about thus far is the lack of emotion and heart I see from time to time the last couple of games. At times it's like no one wants to play and they've accepted losing. To me, thats the first thing to fix.

Yeah and it's usually during or right after "Sweet Caroline" plays over the sound system.

I do not agree we looked worse. Perhaps not better, but definitely not worse. I actually think there was VERY minor improvement, but my glasses are rose colored.

We could not run the ball effectively. We could not score as many points against a FCS. We looked tired and discumbubulated in the fourth quarter. Frankly, we looked no better or worse than the first game. Have we Peaked for the season? Time to bring in the qb youngsters to prepare them for next year?

I guess ur glasses must be really rose colored if you didn't think we looked worse in the UNI game!!! Bad extra point snap(lead to a missed extra point), missed fg, bad shotgun snap( lead to a fumble), fumbled punt return, 2 interceptions, only 2 catches for todd wow we really played better. The only thing that was better was the fans!!! 56,795 which most were covered in cardinal, wow!!!

The only thing I don't like about these coaches is the black pants they are wearing on the sidelines... Where did that come from?

Hum, you noticed their pants? Again, I am a GIRL and I didn't even know what color pants they had on. Maybe because I am watching the game!

Yeah, I noticed them, so what? I'm secure in my masculinity... As far as the coaches are concerned that is my only concern... I think the program will be headed in the right direction very soon. Sometimes you have to take a step back to get the momentum going to go forward.

We need to back this team thru the growing pains they are going thru now, the same as the growth of our season ticket base.To readily expect us to perfect is just not forward thinking.Look at the defense for example, Chizik is putting a lot of 2 deep in through out the last 2 games to get that solidified as the season progresses. He will have Arnaud taking more snaps as well as working a few lineman in on offense. He knows what he needs to do, just be patient.Everything will come together in time.Watch the substitutions during the game and you can see what Coach and staff are doing.Do not abandon this team, they want and need our support and I hope that we will not be the fickle fans that iowa wants us to be. I love ISU and always will thru good and bad.

Settle down people...

We are two games into the Chizik era...TWO games. Nobody should ever, ever be ok with home losses to Kent State and UNI, and I completely understand venting your frustrations after the losses. But, to be analyzing Chizik and what has changed from the past, as well as questioning his assistants after TWO games is completely irrational. I have no problem with venting on the losses, but let's not overanalyze and make dumb posts on how nothing has changed from the past when we are TWO games...TWO games into Gene and his assistants era. I'm not making excuses for the Kent State and UNI games-those were bad, bad losses. But come on...

Its pretty funny how we didnt go "that's another cyclone ... first down" after the downs late in the 4th qtr..

I could hear that over the radio and it was giving me a headache....We get it, its a first down. We don't need to be told, its not like we're Nebraska fans...
