Man I wish we had a bye this year....

I would really like a chance to try and get ARob 100% for the stretch run. Maybe with the groin though, it isn't possible to do in one week off....

ARob looked just fine last week.

Put up good numbers and looked good but you could tell he was far from 100%. There were a couple runs were he got to top speed and than had to pull back a bit.

The long pass play is the best example

I'm fine with no bye. It's just not fun having a week with nothing to get excited about while everybody else is playing. Not to mention that it seems that we almost always have laid an egg after a bye and usually take a step backwards instead of getting some problems corrected.

Big 12 teams after bye weeks this season:

Baylor - lost at home vs. UConn
Colorado - lost at West Virginia
Iowa State - none
Kansas - escaped at home vs. Iowa State
Kansas State - none
Missouri - lost at home vs. Nebraska
Nebraska - won at Missouri
Oklahoma - lost at Miami (yes, Bradford's injury played a role)
Oklahoma State - escaped by the skin of their teeth at A&M
Texas - won vs. Colorado despite the offense sleepwalking for 50+ minutes
Texas A&M - beat Utah State at home, 36-30
Texas Tech - bye week is Nov. 7

8 of the 9 games so far have been either losses or late-game escape wins. Not exactly great results.
