We had a tv in the room and while about to watch a boxing match right at the "Let's Get Ready To Rumble" my son's head started to crown. Seemed he wanted to watch too.

What about the pain of the beating you took when you forgot to pick up your kid?
I've heard this, but my personal experience is drastically different. My wife is a huge wuss when she gets a fever/cold. I guess I've never really had a "bad" cold. I've had bad stomach bugs. That puts me in a fetal position sucking my thumb.
Somehow I managed to pick up another man cold. Don't worry, I am being so brave....

Been under the weather with something for the past 8-9 days or so. Pretty much ruined any desire I had to crack an ice cold Ames Lager over the entire holiday weekend. Now I know what my 3 mo. pregnant wife feels like, not being able to drink during a football weekend.
I need my wife to read this thread, apparently we have things backwards.
Also you will know what child birth is like, basically same discomfort level.
I have to get a prostate biopsy next week (going in both exits)... I think I'd still prefer that to a man cold.

Discovered today that the Halls cough drops have words of encouragement on the wrapper.
First one I noticed had “You’ve been through worse” written on it. 
I had a severe case of pancreatitis last year. I had two separate women tell me they thought it's worse than childbirth.
You are so brave for going up against an illness with a 99% survivability rate. Keep marching on!
At least it doesn't say "Hospice isn't that bad" or "It could be worse, you could be a Hawkeye".
