Absolutely debilitating. Ladies should feel fortunate.
Have had one for over a week now. I'm basically dead.
First thing I grab when I have a common cold (for real we have this book)
This is opposite in my relationship, gf dies with a sniffle, I keep plugging away.
I have one as well. Keep being brave, we are all in this together.
One time, my wife was working late and I had to go to the store to get my own cold medicine. I sent her a text saying, "In case I don't make it back, I love you"

I keep cold supplies in the closet, clearly marked. My husband knows where they are located and how to use them.
About 6-7 years into our marriage, his back was hurting & he was in bed moaning & complaining about it. For way too long. I put the phone next to his side of the bed, gave him the number for the doctor's office and told him if he couldn't call them to make an appointment, I could always get out the shotgun and put him out of his misery. Suck it up, buttercup.
