Too bad Grill transferred. We could have had a Foreman Grill guard combo.

Stopped paying attention recently, should I want this guy?
You can bring foreman in, but imagine if Harris gets a waiver and imagine we get JCL. Suddenly it's a crowded backcourt again. Somebody is going to get pissed off. Sometimes it's better to not rock the boat. If foreman was an obvious take, my opinion would be different. But he's not obvious. It’s good because we need basketball players and he plays basketball. If Tre is better Tre plays. Did you notice when Prohm tried inserting young Conditt over older Young? Started freshman THT and Halliburton? He gives minutes to 5th year transfers because we need people on the floor.
I often thought with him that 15 footer was a much better shot. The analytics say it is not a good short but for certain guys you need to ignore what the analytics say. The 3 pointer from Nixon was akin to a turnover.

It's the nature of kids these days to turn and run at the first indication of opposition or perceived road block. I don't want them to stop going after players, I just don't think you risk running off who we already have for players like foreman who aren't really moving the needle muchJCL and Forman would only be here one year...
You seriously don’t want to bring anyone else in because you think we might have sensitive players?
Not really anyone last year out side of rasir or Tyrese proved they aren't able to be recruited over.JCL and Forman would only be here one year...

JCL would be a home run and if I had my choice between the two I'd take him but I still think this is a guy that would definitely help. He had a lot of interest when he entered the portal IIRC
For sure, but three open scholarships we can take both and be very picky with the final one.
Let's go for the mcclung kid instead of the stony brook kid. There's a needle moverGetting both and Tyler Harris would be a pretty impressive spring IMO
A home run? Isn’t JCL just a shooter?JCL would be a home run and if I had my choice between the two I'd take him but I still think this is a guy that would definitely help. He had a lot of interest when he entered the portal IIRC

Interest when he entered the portal isn’t a terribly high bar.
A lot of programs after a kid in the spring doesn’t mean he’s that good, let alone a home run.JCL would be very good. There's a reason he's got a lot of programs after him
Michigan has a steady rotation of guards, while we are the complete opposite. JCL could come here and play significant minutes and be a high valued contributor, or he could go to Michigan and be a role player.A lot of programs after a kid in the spring doesn’t mean he’s that good, let alone a home run.
Michigan sees him as a role player. That’s valuable, don’t get me wrong, but a home run?
JCL would play a minimum 25 mpg for us. We need bigger guardsA lot of programs after a kid in the spring doesn’t mean he’s that good, let alone a home run.
