There are only two benefits to making it to a bowl this year.

1. Makes the fans happier.
2. Extra month of practices.

I don't think it will help recruiting for this year over say a 4 win season. Financially it's a loss since it will be the toilet bowl if we make it. Still I really want to go bowling.
