This is telling about how difficult it is to win an NCAA Championship in basketball.

Which is why I was absolutely amazed that so many experts had Kansas vs. Michigan State in the title game in the very year where we have had more top 5 upsets than any other in the history of college basketball. One almost constant is that #1 and #2 will not play each other. Only time since 1966 was 2005 when #2 UNC beat #1 Illinois. And even more definite is that #1 will not beat #2 in the title game. In the history of the tournament #1 has beaten #2 in the championship game 2 times (1949, 1957).

Perception has been that chaotic years tended to go chalk in the tournament, whether that's correct or not (I don't know either way).

I'm glad that it's the giant mess that it's been, and prepared for fright in 15 minutes.

Go home John.

Stop at a Maid Rite and give them some advertising tips on the way out.

As a rule I do not root for big teams, but good job Indiana. Calipari was complaining about their 4 seed - they should have been a 6

I know nothing about butler or Virginia. Who do we match up better with?

Not sure - both seem to be good teams. Announcers said Virginia seems to be having problems defending Mr. "Alphabet Soup" for Butler - if they're having problems with him, they're really not going to like having to defend Niang.
