Madness Thread, Official and Everything!

Wow what a finish to the day, lots of down to the wire games. Gotta feel for Cincy there, just a fraction of a second quicker and they are still alive.

Crazy, crazy day in March Madness.

I’ve followed the tournament pretty intensely for at least the past 25 years, and that was one of the top-3 most insane Fridays and definite top-5 Madness for first 2 days.

Also: UNI must be destroyed.

Seed-upsets:
15: Middle Tennessee-Michigan State
14: S.F. Austin-West Vriginia
13: Hawaii-Calfornia
12: Yale-Baylor
12: Little Rock-Purdue
11: Wichita State-Arizona
11: Gonzaga-Seton Hall
11: UNI-Texas
10: Syracuse-Dayton
10: VCU-Oregon State
9: UConn-Colorado
9: Providence-USC
9: Butler-Texas Tech

Did I miss any?

For anyone who guessed even half of those, and still has 75% of remaining favorites, I salute you!

I can see a few coming in round 2 and beyond.

I had Wichita State, Gonzaga, UNI, Syracuse, Providence & Butler. One person in our pool had Hawaii, one person had Little Rock, and one person had Yale. Nobody picked Middle Tennessee or SF Austin.

Best number of correct picks in our family pool was 24 correct. Worst was 19. I had 23, so I juuuuuuust missed 75%. :)

picked the bold

The states of Iowa and Indiana are the only states to still have 3 teams left in the tournament. For reference, California has 0.
