What am I looking for? The moon looks super bright. Or has it not really started?

Starting about now. At about 3 am it will be nearly full (97%) eclipsed. Ends about 4:47 am CDT.

That's true! Like right now it is getting much darker. Only a sliver of moon in the midwest (MO).
Pants is being his usual ecliptic self (on the East coast). Whatever that means, sounded good.

Awesome event tonight. So slow and subtle but still awesome. Brings some memories of the solar eclipse a few years ago.

I was awake at 3am so I went outside to check it out.
And yes, the total solar eclipse of 2017 was magical.

Was in St. Louis for the solar eclipse. That was amazing to see. Weird how it slowly got dark. Then woke up at 3 and remembered the lunar eclipse. Iphone pics aren't the best.
